Just Change tea: Fairly traded. Totally inspiring!

Just Change tea is a refreshingly fair cuppa and an inspiring example of fair trade and global solidarity. You can buy Just Change tea to sell in your school and there are free teaching resources available too.

The tea is grown and traded by tribal communities in India called ‘adivasis’. After a long struggle to secure their land rights they now own their own tea plantation and have the Adivasi Tea Leaf Marketing Society (ATLM), so they can trade tea on their own terms and demand a fair price.

Just Change is a growing global initiative run mainly by volunteers in India, the UK and Germany. Volunteers help spread the word and run the business. They also connect with community groups who want to sell Just Change tea and use that activity to bring benefits to their local community, so not only is Just Change about a fair deal for tea producers in India, it’s about having a positive impact here in the UK too.
