Solar Schools project

Solar Schools logo

Last year, the carbon cutting organisation 10:10 dreamed up a way for schools to install solar panels by raising money from their communities (watch the video at www.solarschools.org.uk for an overview) and now it is now rolling the project out to 100 schools nationwide! If you work at a school or sit on the PTA, you can put your school forward for the programme today.

Not only does the project help schools raise money for solar panels and all the benefits that come with them, but it encourages them to become involved in the community and work together to achieve a goal – very co-operative!

There's only space for 100 schools, so visit www.solarschools.org.uk/apply to get signed up! Schools will be selected at the end of the summer, in time for the September term. You're not committing to anything yet – they'll get in touch and help you decide if Solar Schools is a good fit. If you know a school you think would be perfect, make sure you tell them what's happening.
