Green Schools Revolution logo

Green Schools Revolution is an inspiring, sustainability education programme from The Co-operative. This FREE programme is for UK primary and secondary schools and provides easy and rewarding ways to implement three key sustainability themes into the classroom: energy, water and healthy living.

Launched in September 2011 Green Schools Revolution has over 3,000 schools registered and taking part in hands on, green learning both in and outside of the classroom.

The Co-operative aims to bring together teachers, parents, pupils and local communities, with projects that encourage creative thinking about the environment. Once registered for Green Schools Revolution teachers can access learning resources, supported visits to Co-operative Farms and the Co-operative’s wind farm, the opportunity to take part in Green Schools Revolution Week and enter the Big Green Competition with a prize fund of £18,000.

Every school joining Green Schools Revolution will receive a great starter pack, access to free online cross-curricular resources and tips on how to link with The Co-operative for more support.
